This recipe is to die for and the balsamic tuiles are crunchy, nutty, sweet and slightly tangy all at the same time! Yum!

Featured Posts

This week's featured posts are some of my readers' favourites.
I am sharing the recipe for Panino con la Salamella. This sandwich is an iconic street food item in Milan, the city I was born in. It is typically sold by kiosks and food trucks, outside sports or concert venues… or even at busy street crossings, where people are bound to pass by. Eating one of these sandwiches is a must when going to watch a soccer match, or as a midnight snack when coming out from one of the many clubs in the city. It is a hearty, no nonsense food. It is made with pork sausage (salamella), sweet peppers, onions and a sauce (either mustard or mayo).
I am also sharing the recipe for Ravioli di Magro - filled with ricotta and spinach. These are probably the most traditional vegetarian stuffed pasta in Italy.
The third featured post is my tutorial on how to make Home-made Condensed Milk. Did you know it only takes 20 minutes to make? This is one of the most popular recipes on the blog.
The last recipe makes a very easy cake: Condensed Milk and Coconut Cake. I often make this for my kids' lunch-boxes and they love it. It's moist and flavourful and it also freezes well.

Sneak Peek

This coming week I am going to share with you a tutorial on how to make Doritos at home! They are perfect for snack time! You will love the familiar cheesy flavor, crunch, and ingredients you can recognise!
I am also going to show you how to make a very easy pasta dish that in my house we call Pasta con Aglietto e Prezzemolino - aka with garlic and parsley. This is part of my little series on easy, quick and affordable pasta recipes like Pasta with Peas, Pasta with Braised Onions and Pasta with Fried Zucchini. Check them out!
I am also going to show you how to make a delicious Chicken Tonnato Wrap - packed with healthy ingredients and a mayo and tuna based sauce!
So stay tuned!
